Do your girls struggle with understanding how to interact with boys? Do you as a mom understand how to help your daughters through the sometimes rough waters of how your daughters should relate to guys? If your answer is yes – or even a hesitating yes, let me share with you a wonderful resource that I believe is one of the most helpful books on this very subject – It’s Not That Complicated by Anna Sofia and Elizabeth Botkin.
As our children get older and relationships between boys and girls get more confusing and “complicated,” they need to have solid biblical understanding of how to interact with each other in a God-honoring way. And let’s face it, it can get “complicated” for us parents, too. How do we guide and shepherd their hearts if our perspective is still getting all tangled up in the culture’s way of relationships? We need to always be reforming our way of thinking from the world’s way of doing things to a biblical worldview… and this book is an excellent help for both parents and their daughters.

The book is written in a such delightful style, with humor sprinkled throughout, that it is a joy to read. Our daughters will be encouraged in a hopeful and biblical perspective on relating to guys and having healthy relationships. I especially appreciated the last two chapters written by Anna Sofia and Elizabeth’s parents, Geoffrey and Victoria Botkin. They each wrote on A Note to Fathers and A Note to Mothers, respectively. Those chapters are not to be missed!
Because we believe that this is such a helpful book, we’re giving away a copy of It’s Not That Complicated to one of you!
