Spring Cleaning: Deep Clean Your Cupboards – Christian Homemaking

Uncategorized

Have you started your spring cleaning yet?

We like to divide and conquer our spring cleaning with teams and zones. When we do it this way things get accomplished a lot quicker!

I like to make lists and hand it out to each child. I have several teens and adults around so it makes doing this much easier when everyone pitches in.

We are going to share some posts on how to clean your home this month and today we are starting with the kitchen.

1. Start out with a clean kitchen so it is easier to begin this project, I like to have dishes washed and clean counters before I begin.

2. Take everything out of your cupboards.

3. Get rid of everything you don’t need or not in good shape- this is so important to preventing clutter and overflow. Remember that the more you have the more you have to maintain it.

4. Wipe everything down with soap and water or a good cleaner. Label as necessary.

5. Replace liners if needed.

6. Arrange like items together when you put them back so it is easy to find.

7. Wipe down inside of cabinet doors and the outside also.

Some of our favorite products to use while spring cleaning are:

Mrs. Meyers all-natural cleaning products – our favorite is the Lemon Verbana by far!

Scrub Daddy sponges

and Scrub Mommy too!

Mr. Clean MagicErasers

Microfiber cleaning clothes

essential oils for diffusing

Bar keepers friend
