Creamy Filled Strawberries with Almonds – Christian Homemaking

Uncategorized

Are you looking for something other than chocolate to eat for Valentine’s Day?

You might want to try these Creamy Filled Strawberries!

It’s pretty easy to make and won’t take very long. It is a great recipe to do with your children too.

Here is what you need:

24 large fresh strawberries

1 cup cold milk

1 package instant vanilla pudding mix

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups whip topping

Rinse berries and pat dry with paper towel.

Trim stems and white flesh from tops of berries and use petite melon baller to scoop out flesh. Slice off small part of the bottom of strawberries to save for topping as shown in picture above.

In a small bowl, beat pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes.

Fold in vanilla a whipped topping.

Spoon pudding mixture into a pastry bag (or use a plastic bag and cut small opening in the corner.)

Pipe into each berry and top with strawberry bottom and some almonds (optional). Arrange on serving platter and chill for 2 hours.

Makes 2 dozen.

We hope you enjoy this recipe!
