8 Ways to Freshen Up Your Home for Spring – Christian Homemaking

Uncategorized

Are you looking for a few tips to freshen up your home for spring?

Today we are sharing 8 ways to freshen your home up!

1. Declutter – get everything old and unwanted out! Keep things to a minimum if possible.

2. Organize – organize everything that got out of control during the winter.

3. Add pretty flowers – add pops of color through your home–they could be fresh or silk.

4. Change your look – switch from winter decor to all spring and summer decor

5. Paint – you might need to freshen up your rooms, trim, stairwell, or some other part of your home with paint. Do a walk through and make a list of what is needed.

6. Make it smell great – diffuse spring smelling essential oils and open the windows to get some fresh air in

7. Dress up your table – change out the centerpiece and add something fresh (whether you like florals or the barn look–add a special touch to your home)

8. Plan new projects – whether it is spring cleaning, gardening , tackling the garage, or remodeling be sure to plan it out!

I recently did a post called My Humble Home – Spring Projects over at my main blog where you can read all about what I am doing and steps I have already done. I hope you stop by!
