Raising a Daughter After God’s Own Heart

by June Fuentes on March 2, 2017 in Inspiration in Child Rearing, Nurture, Tools, Training Ground for Mature Adult Character

Today I wanted to share about a priceless little gem that all moms of daughters should own.

We used to share this book in our sidebar and then I realized that we never actually did a post on it. That means that people who were visiting through their phone would have missed it.

And I loved this book and I think that so many moms and daughter would truly benefit from it!

It is Raising a Daughter After God’s Own Heart:

Here is a description of the book:

Your daughter has only one mother–you! God specially chose you for that role–to love her, equip her for life, and raise her up as a daughter after God’s own heart.

That means living as an example your daughter can imitate. How can you give your very best to your daughter and encourage her to love and follow God?

In Raising a Daughter After God’s Own Heart, Elizabeth George–who raised two daughters–draws truth and guidance from Scripture, the wisdom of other moms, and personal experiences. She also focuses on the fun and joy your special bond with your girl produces as you both seek God’s heart together.

  • cheerleader
  • homebuilder
  • shepherd
  • teacher
  • social secretary
  • prayer warrior
  • marathon runner

No one can fill these roles for your daughter better than you. And God has promised He will help you–every step of the way!

You can find this book HERE.

I hope it is a blessing to you!

Thanks for the book recommendation. I love that author, but haven’t read that book.
