Motivated Moms Planner Giveaway!

by Emily on January 6, 2017 in Cleaning, Giveaways, Homemaking, Organizing, Responsibility, Tools

It’s a brand new year, and that means it’s a great time to get organized in the home and get on a cleaning schedule if you don’t already have one.  How good the Lord is to give us a brand new year, and each new day is a gift from Him.  We should recognize this and give Him thanks for this every new day.

If you want an easy way to manage and keep track of your home duties, there’s a wonderful planner available that comes ready-made with all your cleaning tasks already made up for you.  There is no sitting down to figure out what to do each day, but you just print off your chore list (or use an app), and then you check things off as you finish them. It’s quite gratifying!  There are daily chores that remain the same every day, as well as new chores to do every day.  “Spring cleaning” tasks are spread out throughout the year, so you don’t need to spend extra time cleaning in the Spring (or Autumn).  Also, you can always cross of a chore if it doesn’t apply to you.

If you’ve never heard of this helpful planner before, this is the Motivated Moms planner, which is available in either printable form, or as an app for your favorite device.  I have used these planners for years.  They are great for getting straight into your home duties when you haven’t a clue where to begin, and they’re also great for using year-round to keep on task!   There are many different options of planners, including a page per day planner, a weekly page, and planners that include Bible reading plans as well.  The choice is yours!

I, Emily, am working together with Susan of Motivated Moms to give a planner away to two of our beloved readers here at Raising Homemakers!   Each winner will have her choice of the different printable planners, or an app.  This has been super helpful to me over the years, and I’m sure it will be to you as well.  We don’t want you to have to wait too long before you can start using your planner, so this giveaway will end on Thursday, January 12, 2017.  Of course, if you don’t want to wait until then, you can purchase a planner now. We hope you enjoy and are blessed in this new year!

Emily and her wonderful husband are raising several future homemakers and one little man. Emily enjoys homemaking, homeschooling, arts & crafts, cross-stitching, reading, sewing, and playing piano, just to name a few. She is interested in healing the body through the food God has given us, along with other God-given means such as herbs and essential oils. You can find her blogging about all things homemaking at Blessed Homemaking. Emily also has a God-given gift for art and sometimes posts her creations at Emily's Fine Art.

I love Motivated Mom planners. I am currently using the app. My biggest struggle with homemaking is routinely getting all the detailed cleaning done. If you use this planner you will get those chores done that can easily be forgotten; like baseboards! Good luck ladies.

Can I be real? I struggle with all of it. I am not organized and I have a hard time keeping up with it all. On the days I work (only 3 days a week) I get up at 4:30 and sometimes can get a load of laundry or dishes done. I don’t get home until after 7:30 and am super tired and everyone is on top of me because they missed me. On my days off I homeschool my 3 kids. If I am not there with them, nothing gets done. By the time we are done, I am working on dinner. By bedtime, I don’t even want to relax, just sleep. I keep routines for about 1-2 days. I am just happy when we all have clean underwear. lol

My biggest struggle with homemaking is two fold: one finding the time to get it all done.. between homeschooling three teenagers and everything we are involved with.. there never seems to be anytime left over at the end of the day.. and finding the strength to get it all done.. with health issues that can easily land me in bed.. I have to pace myself.. which usually means something gets left undone

Rosalie January 6, 2017

My biggest struggle is feeling overwhelmed with all that needs to be done. I end up leaving all the work to be done in bigger chunks rather than a little each day. This would be so nice to have all the work broken into smaller chunks for me!

veronica January 7, 2017

I never feel like I’m finished. I often think I could work 24/7 and still never be finished probably because that’s a fact of being a homemaker. But, if I knew there was a plan laid out that would cover it all over time without my brain scattering in all directions all the time, that would be a big help. I could check my boxes and allow myself to relax for the day and feel finished.

Christina anne January 7, 2017

I am always looking for a new planner that really works. Maybe this will be it! Thanks for the giveaway.

GC January 11, 2017

I think my biggest struggle is lack of organization in my mind. I just looked at the samples for this planner and I just realized that having an organized plan like this would make such a difference for us here at home. It would help with the feeling I get of going around in circles. I think that often times I feel like I never accomplish anything, but with a list like this I would possibly feel like the work for A specific day would be done! Ando that’s a good feeling, isn’t it?! Thanks for the giveaway!

Alyson January 11, 2017

My biggest struggle is I get overwhelmed with housework and don’t know where to begin. I love lists, but there is always something to do and I want it done instantly.
