Doorposts Ruby Doll Kit Giveaway and Homemaking Linkup!

by June Fuentes on June 27, 2012 in Giveaways, Homemaking Link-Up

Today at Raising Homemakers we are excited to share with you…

A doll that encourages your daughters to act out godly themes in their play! The Ruby Doll Kit gives mothers and daughters a fun, interactive way to study the virtuous woman of Proverbs 31 while also learning basic sewing, cooking, and craft skills.

Your daughter will learn simple basic homemaking skills as she makes:

A pocket-size (4″) Ruby doll and her family
Ruby’s real purple silk dress
Ruby’s tapestry coat with glittery hand embroidery
A tiny market basket full of dough-art fruits and vegetables
A batch of bread sticks for your dinner and tiny loaves of bread for Ruby’s market basket
A miniature basket filled with real combed wool, a tiny drop spindle, and colorful wool yarn.
Scarlet winter clothing for all of Ruby’s family
Miniature gardening tools for Ruby to use in her vineyard
And more!

The kit also includes a mother-daughter Bible study (an overview of Proverbs 31:10-31 with studies on “the law of kindness,” “the bread of idleness,” and “reaching forth our hands to the needy”) and a Proverbs 31 coloring book of Doorposts-style illustrations that bring these verses down to “girl level,” helping our daughters see practical ways to apply Proverbs 31 to their own young lives.

Recommended for ages six and up. Save $6 on the complete Ruby Doll Kit with coupon code “RubyDoll” (expires September 25th, 2012).

Thank you for letting us link up. I love to come and see what everyone is up to these days. I love that you want to inspire others. We all need a little encouragement once and a while. It is nice to see women of faith out there talking about what they are doing. Sometimes we get into a “homemaker rut” I was in one for a while, but now I am out and about blogging has helped me to realize that what I am doing is so important. To love my family well is the heart of who I am.
