Walking with Sarah Re-launch and Give-away!

by Rhonda on October 4, 2011 in Announcements

Hi I’m Rhonda Devine, one of the contributors here at Raising Homemakers and I’m celebrating the relaunch of my blog,  Walking with Sarah!  One of my heroes is Sarah, Abraham’s wife.  Through her faith in God, she could follow her husband without fear.  Inspired by her example in I Peter 3, I began Walking with Sarah in 2009 to encourage young women in their roles of wives, mothers, and daughters.  After dealing with some health issues this last Spring, I took a break from blogging, but am excited to be back.  Come visit and help me celebrate Walking with Sarah.

A big thank you to June, a fellow blogger at A Wise Woman Builds Her Home and owner of our site here at Raising Homemakers, is also a dear friend who not only encouraged me to get this blog back up, but has graciously allowed me to share my re-launch here at Raising Homemakers and is also offering a free copy of her book, True Christian Womanhood, as part of my giveaway~thank you, June!

Beeyoutiful is a company committed to offering health-sustaining supplements, essential oils, and other wonderful products.  One of their most popular products is their Miracle Salve, which I’m offering free as part of this package.

Another dear friend of mine, Susie of Our Simple Farm is offering two bars of her homemade goatmilk soap, one bar of Plumeria and one lavender with tea tree oil.  Thanks, Susie!

My daughter, Jessica, the knitter in the family has created this lovely fall scarf, to add seasonal beauty to your wardrobe.  Thank you, Jessica!

I’m pleased to also offer a free copy of the Duggars’ new book, A Love That Multiplies, which can also be purchased through Vision Forum.  You’ll love the practical advice they offer on parenting a large family as well as the touching story of their little premature baby, Josie, and how God carried them through that difficult time.

Another one of my favorite companies, Noble Rose Press, offers wonderful historical paper dolls.  I wanted to make this set available as part of my give-away because I believe these wonderful kind of learning tools are needed in our families.  This set was created by Emily Rose and Breezy Brookshire, also two of our contributors here at Raising Homemakers.

Christmas is right around the corner and one favorite resource I use often is Gooseberry Patch–they have such great, creative ideas for the holidays. I’m giving away book 12!

And last but not least, I am offering a copy of the latest Christmas edition of the Mother-Daughter Tea Cozy Club.  This little magazine holds recipes, articles, and ideas for organizing a Christmas tea with your girls.  This resource is from Remembrance Press, the creators of the wonderful Girlhood Companion Magazine.

So come on over to Walking with Sarah and enter here.

The Five Love Languages of Children is a great one! Children can be so sensitive that it is very iaptromnt to show them love through their own language and make sure they understand exactly how we feel about them. Thanks for visiting!
