Pumpkin Bread…

by Jennifer on October 25, 2011 in Food

Pumpkins are simply delightful.

At our house it wouldn’t be fall without

something pumpkiny cooking in the kitchen.

This pumpkin bread is so yummy & moist… a perfect treat for autumn.

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

3 cups sugar

2 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp. salt

1tsp. baking powder

2 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. ground cloves

1 tsp. nutmeg

4 eggs

2 cups canned pumpkin

1/2 cup oil

1/2 cup butter melted

Mix drys, Mix wets then carefully mix together till combined.

Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.

Pour into pans and bake at 350 degrees for about

45-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Also, another lovely addition would be mini

or regular sized chocolate chips!

Enjoy & Serve with Love!

Many Blessings~ Miss Jen

I’m so glad you shared this recipe. I was just talking with my husband last night about how I really needed to find a great pumpkin bread recipe. We were in the midst of carving pumpkins when the thought crossed my mind…because I was trying to think of things I could use the guts of the pumpkin for. Of course, it all ended in the trash…but I have canned pumpkin in the cupboard. 🙂

Thank you for sharing your lovely recipe dear! 😀

That looks like a wonderful recipe! I love cooking with pumpkins, and this would be good to add to the rotation along with the pumpkin roll and muffins.

I’ve never had anything pumpkin before. I remember once I did take a sip of pumpkin spice latte? I think that’s the name and it traumatized me because I remember not liking it! haha
When you say 2 cups of pumpkin? Would that be the “actual” pumpkin? You’d just cut them up?

2 cups canned pumpkin {mashed} 😉

Wonderful! I needed a good new bread idea, we are a little bored of zucchini and banana breads. I’m adding what I need from this to my grocery list for next week! Perfect for fall 🙂
