I know the first days of something new can be slow, but I’m hoping, over time, we can really get on board with Polished Cornerstones projects – they are so so good! (And not only for our daughters, but for ourselves!)
So, here is how this works…
Just link-up your post (the url of the specific post, not just your blog url) with your name and project.
Example: Sarah Mae, Interview with MIL (you only have 50 characters though, so be creative!)
Remember, your post can be writing about your project, showing pictures of the project, talking about what you loved, what you learned, what your daughter(s) learned, etc. We want to be encouraged and inspired (and learn a thing a two!).
Please link back to this post on your post so others can join in! I look forward to reading through your projects! (Remember, we are doing this link-up every Wednesday, so it’s okay to get in on it late in the game! Get your book here with a special discount!)
P.S. I’ll link up my project from my blog…I chose to interview a godly woman, my Mother-in-Law. :)

Oh snap…in all the busy-ness, I forgot all about it.
The last thing Gabriella did was make a Proverbs 31 book. She did one verse per day and drew a picture with each one. I didn’t write a blog post about it (don’t really have the time). But it helped her to see each verse in more depth. =)
Due to money this month, I couldn’t get the book. ((sniff sniff)) BUT… I’m working on that!! DD and I are planning to perhaps start a blog, just her and I, mostly for the link-ups! I honestly can’t wait to get started!!!
The Lord graciously provided Polished Cornerstones for my family just in time! I am not sure if I will be able to join in today though as I’m having a bit of preterm labor scare at the moment. May have to wait until next time. Off to find my heating pad and refill my ice water…
I love this book. It is a great investment if you can afford it. I promise!
Waiting for my book to arrive in the mail. Can’t wait to join in!
I forgot to start it. I promise I will be ready next time!!
I love, love, love my boys. But how I’d love to have a girl to teach this art to.
So can I only join in on this if I have a blog?
Hi everyone, so glad to find a blog like this, listening to your experiences and share some of my experiences with you.
I don’t have a blog, but recently I’ve decided to follow the Prov.31 and Titus 2 mandate for older women and start a mentoring class sharing my homemaking skills and character building with young girls and their moms.
Our group is called “Keepers of the Home” and we will begin meeting once a month in my home to learn a homemaking skill and use the Polished Cornerstones book as part of the character building part of the class.
I currently have 4 little girls ages 6-10yr.and their moms ready to attend. Our class will begin at an Introduction Tea held at a local tea room where I’ll share with the girls and their moms what I’ll be teaching: character building using the bible and Polished Cornerstones book, and homemaking skills, and why: to produce skilled, thrifty, godly young women who can manage their own homes and be a blessing to their parents, a future husband, and prepared to teach their own children.
I hope to instill a love of homemaking by sharing that it can be fun, through games, crafts and history.
Well now I am finding this inspiring. I found you via Belinda’s Notes linking to our Habits for a Happy Home. We are pulling out both Polished Cornerstones and Plants Grown Up to do this school year. This makes me even more excited! Thank you for hosting something like this and spurring us on. Off to read more link ups…
